Did someone say ‘Christmas!?’
Nothing says ‘Christmas’ quite like Elf on the Shelf; the family interactive Christmas story, loved by children and adults the world over. If you have children, young siblings, or perhaps you grew up with the beloved tradition yourself, you’ll know just how much fun finding where your adventurous Scout Elf has got to can be. That’s why, when Kids’ People were approached to provide fun, engaging staff for this exciting event, we jumped at the chance to help spread joy and Christmas cheer with everyone at Winter Wonderland.
Santa Land take over!
Our Kids’ People ambassadors underwent some super-secret Elf on the Shelf training before they could undertake the tasks of the event. Then they were all given their special names, using the Elf Name Generator. After being supplied with tons of goodies, Peppermint Frostington, Sugar Cookiecourt and Bixby Sleighski, (to name a few), descended onto Santa Land to interact with children; giving them the special gifts and scavenger hunt maps so that they could find all 10 Scout Elves hiding around Santa Land and on completion, win prizes.
The Kids’ People team loved the fantastic response
The event was a huge success with hundreds of families coming to claim prizes on completion of the scavenger hunt. Our team loved handing out the official Elf on the Shelf goodies and seeing how happy they made people of all ages. Lots of photos were taken with our Ambassadors, however none could rival how popular our two dancing Elf on the Shelf mascots were! Children lit up whenever they saw them and there were constant queues for that special photograph, they could take with them and their families. All of our staff worked incredibly hard to make sure that everyone involved had fun throughout the day. The event was such a huge success that the staff at Elf on the Shelf themselves said that everyone did an excellent job and that they would like to work with the Kids’ People team for future events! We would love this and are so excited to have been a part of spreading Christmas magic all the way from the North pole to London’s Hyde Park.
