Stepping back in time at Goodwood Revival
Picture the scene; a bright sandy beach with families enjoying the sunny weather and children running in and out of beach huts and making sandcastles. This description would fit a lovely day at the seaside perfectly, but on this particular occasion it belonged to ‘Wall’s Beach’, the place that thousands of families visited at the Goodwood Revival one very cheerful weekend in September! On the beach were the wonderful Kids’ People team, who were picked for their exuberant and bubbly personalities to bring the beach to life for all the visitors and encourage them to make an Instagram post in exchange for a yummy free ice cream! The visiting families loved the beach and the children had loads of fun playing in the sand. The Kids’ People team helped the children build the finest sandcastles and sand creations you could imagine!
No-one is too young for a Retro Hair do!
Meanwhile at Betty’s hair salon more lovely Kids’ People staff in matching mint green and pale pink outfits glided around with a big smile, informing people of Unilever’s hair tutorial website ‘All things hair’ and taking photographs for customers as the proud owners of their new retro hairstyles. From victory rolls to beehives, everyone of all ages who left the salon had been transported back to their chosen era with full credibility. And it wasn’t only the adults! Groups of very excited little girls came into the salon and requested their very own unique retro hairstyle and the stylists certainly delivered. The Kids’ People staff were at the ready to snap Polaroid photos of them as their stylist put the finishing touches to their new look.
A Wonderful Summer Weekend Enjoyed by All
Soaking up what could quite possibly have been the last few days of summer, both the guests and the staff had a wonderful weekend full of joy and precious memories, with a few sandy shoes and mysterious hair pin appearances thrown in for good measure! The client was thrilled with the hard work, enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff and the staff enjoyed the work so much it was difficult getting them out of the event and back to the 21st century!
