Chocolate and arts and crafts in the same place… what’s not to love?!
We were very excited to be asked to provide and staff the Arts and Crafts zone for children within the UK tour of The Fantastical Chocolate FESTIVAL. An emerging new event showcasing all things chocolate and sugary with face painting, inflatable play and live characters providing interactive and engaging entertainment. Our team were located in the middle of the event surrounded by chocolate fountains and giant inflatable toadstools and lollipops! The Arts and Crafts area was always filled with children colouring, creating and designing many “Yummy Flies” and “De-Lish Dragons” which then took flight with their colourful, gummy bear filled wings!
We impressed visitors with our creative crafts
Our Kids’ People team were on hand to help the children with their creations and treating them with patience and care whilst allowing them to feel a sense of achievement on completing their art by themselves. They infused lots of fun and entertainment into the Arts and Crafts area, helping and chatting with the children, and were amazed by the wonderful creations that were made. They were even joined by “The Three Bears” and our team encouraged the children to hide the gummy bears from Goldilocks!
Creating a relaxed and enjoyable experience
Parents were able to join in helping their children make their creations, using our clear and easy to follow instruction sheets, resulting in a fun family task. Everyone commented on what fun the activities were and took photos so that they could continue to make more Kid’s People designs with their children at home. Our Arts and Crafts area allowed families a chance to relax and enjoy creating their own designs, from stunning stripes and eyelashes to pretty flowers and hearts. Everyone was thrilled with how friendly and engaging the Kids’ People team were and how different, creative and lovely the activities offered were. A fabulous and enjoyable time was had by all and our team were very excited to be invited back to do it all again for the whole UK tour!
