We were excited to be invited last month to provide all the children’s entertainment in the ‘Kids Zone’ at BikeFest 2022!
BikeFest is a fun filled family festival attended by over 10,000 biking enthusiasts to celebrate cycling and sustainability.
From mystic magicians and creative crafts to football fanatic penalty shootouts, sensory soft play and face painting, Kids’ People provided 360 degree entertainment at theBikeFest Kids Zone.
Manned by hand selected staff all of whom have a passion for entertaining and educating, the ‘Kids Zone’ really was a fun a welcoming area for all.
Something for everyone
Cheering and laughter floated through the warm summer air all courtesy of Kids’ People entertainment team. Wooden crafted bicycles, crunchy leaves,colourful card and bright ribbon were all on hand to help out young cyclists create incredible crafts all the while promoting cycling as a form of sustainable travel. Sticky hands, giggles, and creativity buzzed around gingham covered tables whilst our team of craftleaders guided our young artists. Mischievouspuppets pulling off mind boggling tricks resulted in the crowds of delighted children asking the magician how it was done. Brightly coloured spongey blocks, a rainbow of bouncy balls and fun foam fish provided a soft, safe and surreal space for the little ones to explore. Climbing, building, tumbling and giggling, the soft play provided a very big adventure for the tiniest tricycle goers. Mind bending balloon modelling blew the socks off the young bicycle goers and on top of all that there was incredible face painting for all who visited!
Fitness fun factor
But what about those tricky pre-teens? Well Kids’ People looked to fulfil the needs of children of all ages including those that are getting a bit too cool for crafting- and this is where the competitive football shootout came into a league of it’s own. With a long line of eager Erikson’s in the making waiting to show off their skills this activity was a real score, whilst promoting, exercise and a healthy lifestyle which was at the heart of BikeFest. With a traditional countryside fete atmosphere but the excitement and fun factor of an incredible children’s party, this Kids Zone truly was one of a kind!
