Hop Around Bromley

An Eggciting Easter Event!

It all started on Easter Bank Holiday weekend and kicked off with a CRACKING Peter Rabbit Easter Bunny Hunt, otherwise known as “Hop Around Bromley.” Twenty-five cheeky rabbits had hidden in and around The Glades and the High Street in shop windows and we needed little explorers to hunt them down! Our team were located in the shopping centre with coloured pencils, maps and some helpful hints to get explorers started on their trail…and maybe even a few clues! Our team loved seeing old faces from the morning returning in the afternoon with completed sheets and huge smiles on their faces from the fun they had had during the day.

Our motivated staff brought Peter Rabbits’ garden to life!

The second activity that our team worked on was the “Pop-Up Country Garden,” a Peter Rabbit themed garden. Here you could have fun with your little ones finding a seat amongst giant flowers and flower beds at tables and chairs where they could colour Peter, Lily and Benjamin to their hearts’ content! There was also the opportunity to have a photo taken on a beautiful, giant wooden chair to feel just as Peter Rabbit would if he was in a human’s garden, a competition, and as if all that wasn’t enough, there was free face painter on hand too, to make the little ones look like little rabbits, spider boys and girls, or flowers. What a treat!

The Peter Rabbit stories were a huge success

The grand finale of the Easter holidays was a special visit from Peter Rabbit himself! In the garden for one day only, Peter appeared every hour with a narrator and a BSL interpreter, and they all told stories of Peter Rabbit and his mischievous adventures! Our team helped manage the queue and the ticket scanning for this event, making sure all the children were seated comfortably on the grass, and also handed out certificates and stickers to all children after the story had finished. Everyone commented on what a lovely event it was and how wonderfully the children listened, how beautiful the Peter Rabbit costume was, and how friendly and helpful our team were.
